Professional pitchers make it look easy, but did you know a shot put weighs up to 7.2 kilograms?

Now Kiwis can make their own shot put in pop-up shot put circles across the country.

The New Zealand Olympic Committee established the circles to promote the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The pop-up shot put circles demonstrate how to do it before the public can get started. The best photo in each city will win a prize with four categories for both adults and children.
