From July 12 to September 11, no more than 100,000 daily passengers can depart to the west London airport announced.

Airlines planned to operate flights with an average daily capacity of 104,000 seats during that period, Heathrow said.

The airport said it has ordered airlines to “stop selling summer tickets to limit the impact on passengers”.
