Heidi Klum received a mixed reaction when she fooled her fans with a fake prosthetic belly in support of April Fool’s Day.
The supermodel and mother of four49, Leni, 18, Henry, 17, Johan, 16, and Lou, 13, shares with her ex-husband Seal.
America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel shared a photo of co-star Sofía Vergara kissing Heidi’s “baby belly.”
The star captioned the snap: “Congratulations. @heidiklum Staff @sofiavergara and I are the first to know. #agt.’
However, the comment was labeled “unpleasant and disappointing,” especially by those who are unable to have children.
“Pregnancy jokes aren’t really funny anymore,” one fan replied.
“Very distasteful to post something like this when so many are struggling with infertility,” added another.
No pregnancy joke for April Fools.. Wow. I am truly disappointed,” said a third.
According to NHS statistics, around 1 in 7 couples may have difficulty conceiving.
Heidi recently spoke about a possible child wish with her husband, Tom Kaulitz.
‘I mean, it’s a lot. I’ve done it four times. I breastfed for eight months each time [with my four kids] and then I was pregnant again,” she said on the Jennifer Hudson Show in February.
‘Three times in a row. Again [my children are] 18, 17, 16 and then 13. Now I waited a long time so maybe [yes].
In 2022, the TV personality stumbled on USA weekly about how quickly Tom mingled with her family after marriage.
‘[Tom’s] astonishing. I’m sure it’s not easy to move into a close family, with four children and teenagers all of a sudden.
“They were definitely easier when they were younger. Every age comes with its challenges. … It is beautiful. It’s fun. I mean, so far, so good.’
