The Peaky Blinders and Harry Potter star died last April at age 52 after a private battle with cancer that she only revealed to those closest to her.
She left behind Homeland star Lewis, her husband of 14, as well as two children – daughter Manon and son Gulliver.
According to her will, which is now publicly available, the actress has put her entire fortune – worth £857,257.12 – in safekeeping for the benefit of her husband, their children and any grandchildren in the future.
The will names Lewis as one of the trustees of the 125-year-old fund — along with bankers Coutts — with the authority to make payments out of the trust to himself and other beneficiaries.
McCrory, who received an OBE in 2017 for his services to drama, played Shelby family matriarch Aunt Polly in five Peaky Blinders series that received critical acclaim.
She died while filming the sixth and final series. The first episode – in which her character also died – was dedicated to her memory.
The star of the stage and screen played Narcissa Malfoy in the last three films in the Harry Potter series, she appeared opposite Dame Judi Dench in Bond film Skyfall and portrayed Cherie Blair in the 2006 film The Queen.
McCrory and her husband helped raise £1.5 million for the Feed NHS charity during the pandemic and she made a final TV appearance on Good Morning Britain last March to promote their work with the Prince’s Trust before her illness was revealed.
After her death, Artistic Director of the National Theater Rufus Norris said she was “without doubt one of the great actors of her generation”.
Emmy winner Lewis, 51, has said his late wife urged him to live life to the fullest after her death, revealing that her instructions were to “live fully, seize opportunities, have adventures”.
“She said to us from her bed, ‘I want daddy to have girlfriends, lots of them, you all need to love again, love is not possessive, but you know Damian, at least try to get through the funeral without anyone kissing’” he said last April.
Recently, Lewis has started dating The Kills singer, Alison Mosshart, 43, and was pictured with her at the summer party of London club The House of KOKO.
