Hollywood Squares host Peter Marshall dies at 98

Hollywood Squares presenter Peter Marshall has died at the age of 98, his spokespeople have confirmed to Metro.co.uk.

The TV presenter was best known for presenting more than 5,000 episodes of the Emmy Award-winning original version of the classic game show.

Marshall passed away this morning at home, surrounded by his loved ones, from kidney failure.

Marshall is survived by his wife of 35 years, Laurie, daughters Suzanne Browning and Jaime Dimarco, and son Pete LaCock. He was preceded in death by son David LaCock in 2021 from complications due to Covid.

He is survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
