Movie gunfire that has been a staple on the big screen for decades is much more problematic these days — given the fear those sounds generate during production — but Olasmediatv.com has been informed that the LAPD will continue to allow movie shooting in public areas where can be shot.
A law enforcement source at LAPD’s Film Unit — which issues permits to shoot movies in Hollywood and surrounding areas — tells Olasmediatv.com there are no plans to restrict the filming of scenes in public places.
The LAPD will not comment publicly on the rationale… but in the wake of the m*acres in Highland Park† Uvalde† buffalo and hundreds of other cities this year alone, the sound of gunshots no doubt instills fear in everyone within earshot.

You can clearly see from the July 4 celebrations in Orlando and Philly—where fireworks went off and people scrambled because they thought they were gunshots—how terrified and sharp people are.
Nevertheless, there is currently no plan in LA to restrict productions that use guns and the sounds of gunfire while filming in public.
