There’s a newbie to hair coloring, with vibrant temporary shades like you’ve never seen them before.
After attracting a lot of hype, Schwarzkopf Professional and The Unseen launched Color Alchemy earlier this month to a waiting list of hundreds.
The reason for the hype around the temporary hair color is its uniqueness, the world’s first temporary hair color that changes with temperature and light.
The first-of-its-kind formulation uses patented structured light technology to give you an iridescent, never-before-seen color in an instant – think mood rings, for your hair.
If the temperature changes, or if it is exposed to the UV rays of the sun, the color you see will also change.
Rich red turns to bright pink and deep blue turns to neon green, creating the effect of an Aurora Borealis or dazzling peacock feathers.
The product is applied to dry hair with a brush and appears clear at first. However, after blow drying (although you can let it dry naturally), the iridescent shades start to show up on the strands.
When you’re ready to change your look back, just wash the color off.
Available in five holographic shades, Color Alchemy works on everything from blonde to black hair without the need for pre-lightening or bleaching. This not only saves you time, it ensures that your hair and scalp are not damaged.
It is also cruelty-free and comes in a recyclable secondary packaging and a glass bottle.
A great way to update your look without obligation, you’ll turn heads as your dye turns you into a human chameleon.
Color Alchemy is available from The Unseen for £66and in selected Schwarzkopf salons.
