Holly Willoughby seemed delighted to be back in the company of her Celebrity Juice co-star Keith Lemon as the pair supported the annual Together For Short Lives charity event on Thursday.

The This morning presenter, who has been targeted online by claims jumped into the public queue to see the Queen lying in state with Phillip Schofield was among the celebrities to take over the trading floor at the brokerage firm BGC Partners.

Willoughby showed up to raise money for charity at the annual event honoring the 9/11 attacks and even got a round of applause after earning around £20,000 on a single transaction.

At one point, she was ambushed by boyfriend and TV personality Lemon while making a trade before kicking at him for scaring her.

Speaking of their Celebrity Juice days, Lemon told the show floor, “We worked together before she left me.”

Willoughby appeared on Celebrity Juice alongside Lemon, real name Leigh Francis, for 12 years before dropping out in 2020, and the show will last air later this year.

Elsewhere at the charity event, the TV host, who wore a maroon sweater and tartan skirt, also made the show floor laugh after trying to put the phone on a laptop holder.

“I really don’t know what I’m doing,” Willoughby was heard to say. “It feels wrong to just put it down.”

After sorting out another transaction that brought in £3,000, Willoughby told the customer on the phone, ‘I’m surprised you understood what I was saying.’

Willoughby later told a BGC organizer: “I’m learning words I’ve never heard of. Everyone has taken care of me, especially Slug there. That’s his name.’

Speaking about the cause close to her heart, she added: ‘I’m a mother, I have children, their health is everything and I never take that for granted.

“I don’t know what life will bring me, but what we do want to know is that there are people working behind the scenes to help.”

On Tuesday, the ITV chief executive said that Schofield and Willoughby had been ‘misrepresented’ as they claimed they had skipped the queue to have the Queen in state.

This Morning bosses have emphasized that the hosting duo attended as members of the media to film a segment for the show.

Dame Carolyn McCall said the co-hosts were safe in their jobs despite an online petition to have them fired, and praised their work for the broadcaster.
