Philips Hue has a major product launch, analyzing all new products, and addressing iOS 16 beta issues in this week’s HomeKit Insider podcast episode.

Signify is a steward of the Philips Hue product line. The company announced the biggest HomeKit news this week, with a wide range of products that are fully compatible with HomeKit.

There is a new portable lamp that can be carried indoors as well as outdoors and boasts an IP44 rating against light rain. It can be charged with the attached base and has a silicon grip in the center so you can hold it firmly.

Also revealed is a new set of truck lighting. Tracks come in multiple sizes and have right-angled components. They can be mounted on the ceiling or wall with many pendants, spots, or other lights attached.

The announcement included smaller updates, including an updated version of the Hue Tap switch and a more powerful downlight.
