Horrible Update on Hidden Cameras That Captured 21,000 Secret Videos of Rental Guests Over 20 Years Without Consent

A MAN has been accused of secretly filming tenants at his properties in a chilling voyeurism scandal.

Accused voyeur Rhett Riviere, 66, reportedly produced “thousands” of footage of unsuspecting guests spanning several decades.

Shocking new information is now emerging about the South Carolina resident, who currently holds a $10,000 bond.

Riviere surrendered last week to South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) agents, who have reportedly gathered “substantial” and “overwhelming” evidence against the 66-year-old.

Arrest warrants show that the alleged incidents took place between April and June 2001, when he filmed the victims “with the aim of arousing or satisfying sexual desire”.

But Ryan Beasley, an attorney representing the prosecution in that case, said law enforcement evidence shows 21,000 videos dating back nearly 20 years.

Riviere is said to have included people in places such as the bedroom and bathrooms in rental properties on his property.

Beasley said, “We don’t know what he’s been doing with these videos for the past 20 years.

“I mean, did he send them to the cloud? Does he share them with other people? Is it on the darknet?

“We have no idea and we’re still trying to figure all that out, but think of all the victims out there over a 20-year period.”

Riviere was also arrested last June for voyeurism in connection with a May 2019 incident in which he allegedly admitted a woman into the bedroom of an Airbnb he owned.

Aiken appeared before a magistrate in Aiken County, South Carolina, on Thursday and was given bail after being charged with two counts of voyeurism.

One of the victims from the 2001 case — professional polo player Gabriel Crespo — addressed the court about the charges and agreed to have his name published. PastNews.

Crespo said, “This man is dangerous. This man is a predator.

“He filmed me having sex with my wife. This man should not be part of our community.”

Attorney Debbie Barbier, who represents several victims in a civil case against Riviere, said he should have been given a substantial bail given the size of his alleged voyeuristic activities over the years.

“We believe there are many, many victims in this case,” Barbier said at the hearing.

“We believe he is a predator. There is no telling how many people he has victimized.”
