MOBADRA (6.50 Chelmsford, treble)
She has two wins and a second of her last three runs. She is back from a break but is going nice and fresh and is the best at this distance.

MIDRARR has the stamina (3.40 Beverley).
She finished much shorter in Newcastle last time and this longer trip should be ideal.
Patient Dream has been quite confused about jumps and seems to be the biggest danger.
RED VERDON 3
In red. Group 2 winner at his best and has been running with little success in better races than this one for a while. He has a keen eye for this two-mile journey but failed to fire into the Copper Horse Handicap at Royal Ascot before getting another flat run in the Northumberland Plate. This is easier, but he needs his old spark.
JUST HUBERT 2
JUST not a must. Very headstrong stayer who often does not want to start his matches. Has talent when he feels like it, as he showed last season when he won two good handicaps. However, has struggled lately and cannot be relied upon despite Danny Tudhope’s booking drawing attention.
SPICE 1
MISSING dash. Has decent form at the level around 1m4f but his form has slipped over the jumps and he was well below par when he returned to the Flat in York last time. He’s back to just 1 pound above his last win figure, but is hard to imagine at the moment.
PATINT DREAM 4
Dream On. Has been close jumps without winning and is trying this kind of trip on the Flat for the first time. Is near his last win point so should be competitive after running well in a Stratford hurdle 14 days ago.
MIDRARR 5
RRR star. Stayed strong at an extended 1m4f when second at Newcastle 17 days ago so this longer distance should be ideal. She went over it in good company in York last season and this seems like a good chance.
SMART CHAMPION 2
Not very smart. Not won for a while and was way off pace last time on this Newcastle trip. He’s coming off the weights, which helps, but he needs more.
