Switch TikTok to a business account

Users with professional accounts have access to more features, such as content analysis and trend postings. For our purposes, this also allows you to add links to your bio to boost traffic to your website. Best of all, setting up a business account is free, so you have nothing to lose.

First navigate to your profile and select Settings and privacy.

Then tap Switch to a Business account.

You will be asked to choose the category that best describes your account. This is kept private and helps TikTok suggest strategies to reach your intended audience.

How to add a link to your TikTok bio

Once you have created your Business account, you will receive a welcome message from TikTok. Tap Edit profile.

Here you can add your company website and email address. You can also list any affiliated nonprofits.

Select Company Registration.
