How to transfer photos from Android to Windows PC

How to transfer photos from Android to PC via USB

The easiest method to move photos from your Android to your PC is by using a USB cable. While most flagship phones no longer have a charger, at least they should still include the cable. But they’re relatively inexpensive to replace if you’ve lost or worn out yours. You can use a USB-C cable if your computer or laptop has a USB-C port. Otherwise you have a USB-C to USB-A cable or adapter to connect to your PC.

Once you connect your Android to your PC, you will see a Autoplay pop-up message at the bottom right of the screen. Click on that to choose what you want to do with your device.

After that, another pop-up window will appear with different options. Click Import Photos.

You can also click on the Get started button and select photos to open the Photos app.

Click on the Import icon and select From a connected device.

You can then choose the photos or videos you want to import to your PC and select where to save them. Depending on the number of files you are transferring, the process may take several minutes.

How to transfer photos from Android to PC wirelessly

If you don’t have a USB cable, you can still transfer your images wirelessly using a third-party application. You’ll just have to Sign Up for an account and download the application on your PC and Android.

After downloading, you need to give the mobile app permission to access files on your phone. Then open the app, tap Handover in the lower left corner and select your PC from the My devices list.

Then tap the Photo icon at the bottom right and select the photo(s) you want to transfer. You can then find them in the AirDroid application on your PC.

You can also access the files on your phone directly from the PC application. Click on the Files icon on the left, then open the photos folder to view and download your Android photos directly to your PC.
