Although the clothing style seems universally flattering, plus size Laura Adlington has gone to TikTok. gone to reveal what else she loves about wearing a midi.

“It’s the midi dress era,” Laura – a former contestant on The Great British Bake Off – captioned a video of herself in a black midi dress.

She went on to reveal that even with “hairy legs,” “bloatedness,” or “dodgy tan lines,” a midi dress still looks good.

“Proud founder of floral midi dress anonymous,” Laura writes with her video.

“that dress is beautiful, where did you get it please?” one person commented on the video.

To which Laura replied: “It’s from Never Fully Dressed. Runs large, so deffo size smaller.”

“Desperate for some more. But 5’3″ means midis of a very specific length,” added another.

With someone else replying “just be! I’ve got a load and I’m 4ft 11.”

“I live for a good midi dress,” wrote another.
