A father claims an undiagnosed eating disorder forces him to live on a diet of Easter eggs – mockingly for 200 years already.
Ashley Kean, 30, says most foods make him sick and he can only tolerate it chocolatemashed potato, Yorkshire pudding and fruit.
The saleswoman, who eats until six chocolate eggs a day, said: “My eating pattern is rather boring and not something I enjoy.
“I can’t eat with my two kids, so we can’t go out for family dinners and things like that. It’s extremely frustrating.”
Ashley said he vomited when he tried any food as a baby and has since developed a severe aversion to new foods for fear he will get sick.
One possible diagnosis, he says, is avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, a condition characterized by the avoidance of certain foods.

But the father-of-two says he went to numerous doctors – including a “full MOT” – only to be told everything was normal and that he is in good health.
But Ashley, from Castleford, West Yorks, said: “How, when is this my diet? There is no meat or vegetables.
“It’s frustrating because where do I go?”
