A STOCKPORT COUNTY fan got a tattoo dedicated to his favorite player THREE days before signing for another club.
Callum Taylor, 23, was on holiday in Zante with four buddies last week when he decided to get his very first tattoo.
Three days later, the League Two club confirmed right back Sam Minihan had moved to Halifax Town.
But Callum says he has no regrets and “Super Sammy Minihan” will always be a “Stockport legend” to him.
According to Callum, his Facebook page exploded after he posted a photo of his 60-pound tattoo online.
He wrote: “On Monday I got a tattoo in Zante from my hero SUPER SAMMY MINIHAN from Stockport County.
“Thursday he signs with another club – hahaha.”
He already has a plan to see if Minihan will sign his right thigh under the tattoo so he can get that colored too.
Callum told the Manchester Evening News .
He said: “I was eager to get my very first tattoo. I wanted something I would remember and something fun.
“I walked into the tattoo parlor and that’s when I got the idea. I wanted it to be something that I thought was pretty funny.

“Sam Minihan is a legend. He has been playing at County for six years and he is my favorite player.
“He was a real fan favorite. I don’t regret it. I even had a conversation with him on Facebook.
“I posted a picture of my tattoo and tagged it in it – and got a reply from him. He said it was unreal and said to me ‘what a guy’.
“My mom was just a little shocked and said, ‘What have you done?’ But all my friends think it’s quality. I’ve always been a Hatters fan and Super Sammy will always be a legend.”
Minihan, 28, joined for free from Worcester City in 2016 and has played over 200 games in six seasons, winning two league titles with the club.
Stockport County open their League Two season at home to Barrow on Saturday.
