FOR many women, looking good is the last thing on their minds when they go into labor.
But that was not the case for Louise Cook, who went to TikTok to revealThat she kept up her fake tanning routine throughout her pregnancy – all 40 weeks of it.
In a funny video posted to the site, Louise wrote of a photo of her applying the tan: “When my boyfriend asked me why I’m fake tan at 39 weeks of pregnancy before delivery.”
“Proud of being able to last 40 weeks,” she added in the caption.
“Maybe I was out of breath at the end!”
Louise’s video quickly got reactions from other women who took a similar approach to their beauty routines and pregnancy.
“This is me right now, 38 weeks pregnant – I can’t have my baby meeting me for the first time when she’s all pale,” one wrote.
“I tanned the Negro for my cesarean section, I just couldn’t allow myself to be seen that way, and I was pale too,” added another.
While a third commented, “Yeah, 8 months is still going to be good – going to be hard!”
“The best thing ever, except for the IV tape and the epidural that ruined all my hard work,” another raged.
“This is me now, I’m 39 weeks trying to schedule when to scrub it off and reapply to make sure it’s fresh for delivery,” commented another.
As someone else wrote, “Nurse asked me why are you in full glamor to give birth? My answer? FIRST IMPRESSION IS IMPORTANT.”
But another mother insisted that Louise’s priorities would change now that her daughter has arrived.
“This was me – baby is now 10 weeks here as Casper has no time for that anymore,” she wrote.
