Fiona Bruce admitted she was embarrassed to exercise by her family doctor who made her feel ‘messed up’ about her lack of movement.

The newsreader (58) made the confession online with her beautiful cover photo for women and home, which shows that she looks graceful in a range of colorful outfits.

She explained how the doctor was ‘so upset’ that she did ‘literally no’ physical activity before making the refurbishment with the birth of her first son Sam (21).

When I was asked if I did any exercise, I said, “None,” and the doctor replied, “Literally none?” I said no. “

‘I was upset because she was so upset, so I decided to do something.

‘For me, exercise is not about living longer, but it gives me energy and I do not know how I would be without it.

Fiona shares Sam, as well as daughter Mia (20), with her media mogul husband Nigel Sharrocks (65), with whom she has been married since 1994.

Fiona has previously admitted that she probably did not spend enough time with her two children when they grew up due to her high-profile TV career – and said she is grateful that they had the same babysitter for 20 years.

The TV personality said her two decades of helping the same resident babysitter balance her professional and domestic lives.

When she appeared on the cover of October’s issue of Good Housekeeping, she was asked how she balances work and motherhood, acknowledging: ‘It has certainly been helped by having the same caregiver with us for 20 years.
