A mom has revealed how she’s being trolled for “not dressing her age” at age 40, but won’t ditch wearing crop tops.
Brandi, a mother of three, 40, from Virginia, USA, has 58,700 followers on TikTok – where she shows off her makeup regime, how she treats her curls and love for fashion – but not everyone is a fan.

In one clip, in which she’s dressed like a librarian with her hair combed back, Brandi reveals some of the rude comments she’s received.
She shames the trolls and writes, “You’re 40, so dress like this,” “Stop wearing so much makeup,” and “Just let your hair go gray.”
But she replies, “No thanks, I like being ME” and then transforms into her usual glamorous self, with her perfectly styled curls, hoop earrings, a pink crop top, trackies, sneakers and a full face full of makeup. up.

In another clip, Brandi hits back at “just one of the LOTS of not so nice comments” – where she’s ashamed of having Botox but insists she has nothing to hide.
It reads, “I’m so sorry if you guys think her face looks like this because of makeup and not Botox!?! She looks like she can’t blink! I’m sure I would too.”
Coming back to the treatment-shaming, Brandi says, “Once again, the internet has proven to be one of the most judgmental places you can go.
“But I want to tackle this, even though I really shouldn’t.
“As I mentioned earlier in my last video, I’ve been getting a lot of skincare questions so I wanted to start sharing more about my skincare (and look at me blink…it’s a miracle).
“The last video was about a makeup item that I felt made my skin glow. It had nothing to do with what I actually do for my skin.
“Yes, I’ve had Botox, I wasn’t trying to hide I’ve had Botox, I actually shared it on my YouTube channel, so if you’re someone who follows me, you’d know I’m very open about it .
“But I also know that Botox is not the end, be everything – so if you want to have great skin, you have to take care of your skin.

“I’m a fan of skin care, I take extremely good care of my skin, I do a lot of facials and that’s what I wanted to share here.
“So if you’re someone who came to my page to judge and make nasty comments, then I’m praying for you. But if you came to learn, I’m here to share my secrets. And yes, at 40 age-old that includes Botox.”
Brandi’s fans were quick to defend her in the comments, writing “you look better than most 20 year olds”, “when these young kids think 40 is old (eye roll)” and “omg you are so beautiful”.
Another mother commented, “Guuuurl you’re on fire – and someone please tell me how we should behave when we are 40…I’m confused”.
