If we had to describe our dream wardrobe for summer, it would consist of strappy slip dresses, chic crop tops and breezy button-down tops.
But if you’re anything more than a D-cup then you’ll probably live in fear of spilling out of all these outfits.
So what does that leave? For us it’s a selection of boring oversized shirts and mumsy maxi dresses.
But it doesn’t have to be — fashion expert Claire Hall shared her five styling tips to help women with bigger breasts dress for summer.
On her Instagram page, the personal stylist advised opting for V-neck and puff sleeve dresses.
She explained: “The semi-fitted bodice of this dress provides structure, and the V-neckline and vertical button-up line narrow the frame.
“The puff sleeves balance the bust. Make sure the sleeves don’t sit at the bust.
“Make them higher so they pull the line of sight up.”
Second, Claire recommended a square neckline to “cut the bust” and cover the cleavage.
In addition, the fashion professional chose a top with this cut AND puff sleeves to “provide balance and structure”.
She added: “One styling trick if you want to divert attention from a large bust is to wear something bold and bright on your lower half.
“Keep the top half very simple so the focus is on the bottom.”
The stylist also showed how an off-the-shoulder cut looks super stylish too.
She said: “It draws attention to the shoulders and a cleverly placed fringe will hide the bust.
“Add a chain to keep pulling the eye upwards.”
Finally, Claire urged women to take an elongated V-neck top or dress on the shoulders to minimize the bust and show some cleavage.
“Absolutely brilliant styling tips,” gushed one fan.
“Everything you wear looks so beautiful on you,” added another.
Meanwhile, a third wrote: “Absolutely fantastic tips for us busty ladies…it’s a struggle sometimes, so thanks for the tips.”
