But with more deodorant comes the risk of deodorant stains, which can be especially annoying to remove.

Fortunately, there are a few clever ways to get rid of those pesky stains in no time.

You don’t even have to put your clothes in the washing machine to remove deodorant stains, you can use your old nylon tights.

Rub your tights firmly over the stained areas to see them disappear.

The best part is that you don’t have to wait for your favorite T-shirt to dry so you can put it back on right away.

If you don’t have pantyhose to hand, you can also use a drying cloth to rub off any stains in the same way.

According to the FIR a used drying towel works even better “because a new one can leave some white residue on dark fabrics, make sure the drying towel is completely dry.”

If all else fails, or you find yourself in trouble, removing the stark stains can help take off your top and rub the deodorant-marked area together.

The pros explained, “Get your shirt and rub the fabric together firmly to loosen the deodorant residue, then brush it off.

“Use this as a last resort as the rubbing can cause wrinkling and even stretch or snag some delicate fabrics.”

If you have the time, it’s always a good idea to wash clothes with deodorant stains once after you’ve removed the residue to prevent the stains from settling into your clothes.

This is because the longer they sit, the harder they are usually to remove – acting quickly is key!
