A CLEANING expert shared a simple yet effective dishwashing detergent hack that will not only save you time, but also money.
TikTok account @washy_wash posted a brand new video showing you how to freeze your dish soap.

In a post titled “dish wash savvy hack,” the cleanfluencer walks through the method step-by-step before explaining its main benefits.
As the video begins, @washy_wash can be seen squeezing dish soap into the various compartments of an ice cube tray.
They then say, “Pour dishwashing liquid into an ice cube tray and let it freeze.
Once the tray is full, it’s time to pop it in the freezer and let it work its magic.
Meanwhile, take a regular sponge and cut a small hole in it.
This creates the perfect opening for the ice cube with detergent to put in when you need it.
Simply remove one of the ice cubes from the tray and into the sponge, then run it under warm water until a light foam forms.
@washy_wash went on to explain that there are several reasons to follow this cleaning routine – including limiting the amount of detergent you use each time.
They revealed: “You save money, the environment and time.” They later added, “It will be bubbling for a long time to come.”
Fellow social media users soon went crazy for the home hack, which @washy_wash also posted on their Instagram account.
One wrote: “Wow, amazing. I love this hack.” A second said, “Great way to save on liquid, I’m going through loads.”
Another added: “You would save a lot of detergent in my house by doing this instead, it’s a great idea. My kids get dizzy from the detergent.”
