Listed as hack no. 12 in the collection of videos shared by NewsFlare was a cleaning trick to remove paint from a carpet.

The unidentified woman recording the footage says, “Oh my God, you. This has got to be the most hacked hack ever.

“You have to keep this. You may not be using it today or tomorrow.

“But I never thought I’d need this until about a week ago when this happened to me in our brand new house.”

The woman seemed to spill a peach or pale pink pint on a shaggy new carpet.

She admitted she was ready to cry or possibly “throw out the whole house” after her unfortunate accident.

But the day was saved with the help of a paint scraper, a bucket of hot water and a shock plunger.

Her husband is first seen scraping the paint off the carpet with two scrapers, one to remove the excess paint and the other to collect it.

The woman explains: “If you don’t have a carpet cleaner, this is for you. You just need warm water.

“You scrape it together at the beginning, all the excess you can, and then you pour hot water on it.

“And then you vacuum it with a shock vacuum and look at this — it looks brand new.”

While talking about the process of removing paint from a carpet, she sees her husband repeating the process of pouring hot water on the stain and sucking it up with the vacuum.

Meanwhile, Zoe Smith, from Lincolnshire, had a similar problem and quite a unique hack.

Zoe shared a video on TikTok of the aftermath of paint falling all over her expensive floor.

“Sooo much scrubbing trying to get it out,” she said.

“I literally used a small amount of dish soap and warm water while the paint was wet.”

She added: “Use a wet and dry one to suck your water!”

People were amazed that she achieved the impossible and managed to get the glossy paint out of the carpet.
