In one video, Meredith gives her ideas on how to have an affordable dinner.

“I just used what I already had for the applications to clean the fridge and not buy any more ingredients,” she said, while showing off the entrees she made with apricots and ricotta cheese.

She also decided to use frozen pizzas she donated as a main course and made pasta with ingredients she had in her home.

“Since I work almost every weekend this summer, I like to have nice dinners like this with my friends during the week.”

Meredith also mentioned that the dinner fed nine people and cost only $ 75 to prepare, including the cost of the pizzas which were technically free.

“It is also proof that everything does not have to be completely homemade to feel special.”

Another way Meredith saves money is by growing her own food.

In another video, she shows a garden where she is seen growing lettuce, kale and coriander.

“Growing your own food is such a flexibility,” she wrote in the video’s caption.

Meredith uses many of these crops in the meals she prepares, saving her money on ingredients.

She also suggests the best and cheapest way to eat lobster – by preparing it yourself.

In a one-minute video, Meredith offers a step-by-step way to cook and prepare lobster in your own home.

After bringing salted water to a boil and cooking the lobster for 12-18 minutes, depending on the size, Meredith explains how to break down the lobster to get its meat.

“For tools you need a hammer, kitchen scissors, lobster biscuits, a fork and, most importantly, a dishcloth.”

She shows the audience how to remove the tails and legs of the lobster as well as its organs.

When the lobster was prepared, Meredith said she deliberately undercooked it with a few minutes so she could finish it in chilli garlic butter she had prepared.

“Cheapest way to eat lobster is to make it yourself, besties,” she wrote in the caption.
