IF your kitchen feels cluttered with just you in it, you’re probably using a small space.
An organizing expert found two items that help make the most of the limited space on the counter.
Preparing a meal becomes more and more difficult when there is not much space to prepare food.
TikTok’s hacking expert Marilyn Rivera knows this all too well.
In a recent videoMarilyn takes viewers along as she purchases two items that are great for small kitchens.
Both items together cost just $17.98.
Marilyn goes to Ikea for her kitchen supplies.
The first item on the list is a cutting board.
Marilyn grabs the PRIDE bamboo board that has posts on two sides and costs $14.99.
Not only is it stable enough to cut meat, but if you need to keep it on the counter, you can place cookware on and under it.
She also buys a set of three plastic containers.
These become the FULFILLED prep bowls and they are only $2.99 for the whole package.
The dishes can only be washed by hand, as well as the cutting board.
Marilyn puts the bowls on the corners of the cutting board.
“The cutting board has stilts, so I can cut my veggies and slide them into these little bowls,” she says.
Viewers responded to Marilyn’s post with their tips for taking care of these items.
One viewer wrote, “Cover the board with a press and seal for easy cleanup.”
“Use the back of the blade to scrape off,” commented another viewer.
