She has devoted her page to encouraging others to accept their own bodies, but revealed that it opens her up to nasty messages.

Charlotte told Daily Star: “I receive a lot of death threats, people saying I promote obesity and commenting on the whale and pig emojis.

“I laugh at most of them and brush them off, but sometimes, when there’s an influx, it can really get me down.

“However, ‘promoting obesity’ annoys me in particular because the message I’m promoting is to encourage others to embrace their bodies, regardless of shape and size, and spend their time focusing on meaningful connections.”

Charlotte admitted that mean messages can be shocking, but she ultimately blames society for equating “thin” with “beautiful” and “healthy.”

She also added that she is “sorry” for trolls who project insecurities onto other people.

Charlotte says it takes different body types in TV, movies and commercials to make people feel like they’re good enough.

Though she’s fully embraced her body now, she had a difficult relationship with herself growing up — blaming food culture, the media, and school.

Fortunately, she turned this around while studying for a forensics college degree.

Charlotte said, “I felt like too much of my time in life so far was fixated on the wrong things — looking and looking the way society wanted — rather than enjoying the moment.”
