suits, caps and sunglasses gave way to satin dresses, top hats and glasses at Whitby this weekend the city played host to a steampunk convention.

Hundreds of dramatically dressed fans of the genre descended on the North Yorkshire seaside town for the biannual Whitby Steampunk Weekend, one of the largest in the UK.
