China's top market research agency has released its latest data iPhone 16 closer, the iPhone 15 continues its recovery in the country.
The latest round of data concerns April. CAICT says phones from foreign brands in China – which is mainly the iPhone – rose 52% year-on-year in April, from 2.3 million sales in April 2023 to 3.5 million in April 2024.
“I'm thrilled that in an extremely competitive environment, we grew iPhone sales in mainland China last quarter,” Cook said during Apple's latest earnings report. “That may come as a surprise to some people. And so I feel good about China, I think more about the long term than the next week.”
