DRAMA has surrounded The View host Alyssa Farah Griffin, who shocked fans with an on-screen feud with a former White House colleague.
Former Trump administration staff Griffin and Kellyanne Conway battled it out in a shouting match as a co-host struggled to intervene.
Alyssa Farah Griffinformer communications director of ex-President Donald Trump, recently joined Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostinand Sara Haines as a co-host on The View.
She hasn’t exactly had a smooth transition to the job, though.
Alyssa had previously served as a guest co-host in the rush to replace Meghan McCain’s conservative reclining chair.
In May, Alyssa had a fiery interaction when she challenged Kellyanne Conway about condemning Trump in the wake of the January 6 riots.

Kellyanne was President Trump’s top adviser and campaign manager in 2016.
“Alyssa, when you say that, somehow we have to think you’ve seen the light and not just your name in the light, that’s not fair,” Kellyanne told The View.
“That’s such a cheap shot!” Alyssa said. “You don’t answer the question.”
Kellyanne started discussing the rumors of Trump’s future campaign rather than the January 6 incident, and Griffin wasn’t having it.
“You’re talking about maybe a second term, you never denounced Donald Trump — when he mounted a violent mob that attacked the US Capitol,” Alyssa said.
Kellyanne then said she had made previous comments to ABC condemning the riots.
Despite Alyssa begging for Kellyanne’s disapproval from their former boss, the presence of the new host alone was enough to keep people away from The View.
According to the Daily Beastwhen Wanda Sykes’ publicist was warned that Alyssa would be co-hosting Friday’s episode, Wanda wanted out.
A View insider told the news channel, “She didn’t want to be a part of helping a Trumper whitewash her reputation.”
The Sun’s request for comment from The View and a spokesperson for Wanda Sykes was not immediately answered following the allegations.
Wanda has been an outspoken critic of former President Trump in the past.
In an interview with NPR When promoting Wanda’s Netflix special Not Normal, she shared how hard it was to fool Trump, but for all the wrong reasons.
Wanda said, “You’d think, ‘Oh boy, there’s so much to joke about,’ but I really can’t write anything funnier or more ridiculous than what Trump is actually saying.”
Although Alyssa has turned against Trump, fans still criticize the co-host.
One fan said, “We don’t need toxic Trump rebuffs to make this show interesting!”
Another angry viewer said: “If she gets hired, I’ll be all over it!
“Can’t the producers see how excited we all were when Meghan left?! I didn’t miss her for a second!”

A third fan added: “I don’t like her at all. I hoped they’d take a closer look at Tara Setmayer.
“I can’t tolerate any of these Trumpers to be shunned, not adopted.”
