The beautiful former Strict The 36-year-old star and her mother-in-law became estranged after Ceawlin’s mother, Anna Thynn, the Marchioness Dowager of Bath, made racist comments about her before their wedding.

Nevertheless, when Ceawlin’s father, the seventh Marquess of Bath, died in 2020she became the first black Marchioness ever.

This week, Anna died – who at the age of 78 turned a blind eye to her husband’s ‘wifelets of Bath’.

Here we watch Emma rise above her mother-in-law’s disdain to build a ‘Disney-esque’ life with her family on their £160 million estate.

family breakdown

Socialite Emma married Ceawlin in 2013 in Wiltshire, Longleat – best known for its sprawling wildlife park – and became Viscountess Weymouth immediately after the lavish ceremony.

But what should have been a beautiful day for the couple was soured by the fact that his parents weren’t there.

While the Marchioness endured her husband’s womanizing, which earned him the nickname “The Loins of Longleat,” she was less sympathetic to Ceawlin’s choice of bride, who happens to be half Nigerian.

She is said to have asked her heir – who now oversees the 10,000-acre Longleat – if he was sure he would ruin “400 years of bloodline” by marrying Emma.

Lord Bath, who died of pneumonia after testing positive for Covid in 2020, and his wife were not present at the couple’s wedding, claiming they had already accepted another invitation.

But it was later alleged that the couple even banned his mother from coming because of her racist comments.

Later, Ceawlin is said to have prevented his mother from seeing his son John, in order to prevent the child from being ‘infected’ by her racism.

Anna later denied she was a racist, saying she had “absolutely nothing” against her daughter-in-law.

She is good friends with fashionistas like Naomi Campbell, Edward Enniful and Lady Kitty Spencer — and she’s even a contributing editor for Vogue.

And she can often be seen at high-profile fashion shows.

She attended the after-party of the Burberry Spring/Summer 2023 runway show at The Twenty Two on Monday, dressed all in black, possibly in mourning for her mother-in-law, despite their fallout.

And earlier this month she shared a photo on her Instagram with Kate Mosscongratulate her on the launch of her beauty and wellness brand Cosmoss.

Longleat House – where Emma lives with her husband and their two children – is absolutely breathtaking.

The impressive rural property has 130 rooms – as well as its own safari park – but she and Ceawlin live in only part of the house.

On the TV show Snoop Dogs, viewers saw how Emma combined expensive art with children’s drawings on the walls in the kitchen.

The couple’s bedroom has a huge four-poster bed and beautiful patterned wallpaper throughout.

Emma has given her personal touch to the rooms and in her bedroom she has made a flower frame in front of her large mirror.

The living room is unbelievably grand with huge draped curtains and huge artwork throughout, as well as large soft velvet sofas in bottle green.

There seem to be period furniture scattered throughout their living quarters and even a library full of old books – with its own secret door.

Emma even exercises in style, as she has a Peloton exercise bike and walking machine in one of the large rooms.

The hard work is clearly paying off, as the star before showed off her incredible washboard belly during a sun-filled holiday on the French Riviera.

Emma lives with her husband and two children at a safari park and clearly has a great love for animals.

She previously said: “Not in my wildest dreams did I think I would live in a safari park!

“It’s a bit of Disney, [but] I feel so lucky and happy to be where I am, I have to pinch myself.”

She is an ambassador for Tusk and loves to help with the 500 animals on her 9,000 hectares of land.

When asked recently how much time she spends in the park, she said, “Always. I literally gave a rhinoceros a mud bath yesterday.”

In 2019 Emma took part in Strictly Come Dancing – along with Aljaz Skorjanec – but was eliminated in week 7.

During her performance on the show, she was “completely devastated” by a voting scandal accidentally caused by a manager in her stately home.

She was “unaware” that an employee of Longleat House in Wiltshire had offered to pay for colleagues to call and return her calls.

Darren Beasley, chief of animal operations at Longleat safari park, told staff he was “authorized” to pay for their calls in a Facebook post posted Oct. 18.

He urged employees to keep their phone bills as proof, adding: “Tell your partners, mums, dads, cousins, grandma and the dog if he can call that number for Lady Emma and Aljaz.

“Calling this week is free because Longleat pays. Let’s keep them in for another week x. Have fun voting.”

However, it was quickly removed, seen only by 109 people, and the BBC said it “had no impact on the public vote”.
