TL; DR

  • Bing and DuckDuckGo are both currently offline.
  • Nothing is yet known about the cause of the disruptions.

Google may be the king of search results, but Bing and DuckDuckGo are two of the most notable alternatives in this area. Unfortunately, it appears that both alternative search engines are currently unavailable worldwide.

A visit to Bing produces an error message confirming that “It's not you, it's us.” View the error message below.

Meanwhile, users can access the DuckDuckGo website but cannot see search results. “An error occurred while displaying the search results,” reads a message after a web search on the service.

DuckDuckGo too confirmed the outage on Twitter:

We're currently experiencing an issue with DuckDuckGo Search that may be preventing you from getting results. Thank you for your patience while we get our ducks in a row…

There's no word on what's causing these glitches, though it's worth noting that DuckDuckGo uses Bing for many search results.
