Despite the fact that Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) is separated because of his own horrific actions, he is determined to save Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) suffer because she chose to free herself from him in Emmerdale.

Laurel demanded a parting after discovering that Jai had attacked Amit (Amil Goutam), Pollard had been blackmailed (Chris Chittell), and had conned Suni (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) into taking his inheritance.

Some might say this is a fair response, but Jai is anything but honest.

Ever since Laurel dropped the D-word, Jai has been determined to hit her where it hurts: by alienating Archie, making her work life miserable, and causing her heartache for asking for what she's owed.

He strongly believes that he is right, but isn't Jai himself headed for a huge fall?
