He then contracted Covid-19 while receiving cancer treatment.

The Oscar winner opened on an episode of The one show to hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Yen about his inspiring health struggles.

‘I didn’t, I would go back to work. I thought, “Oh, come on, you can’t do that,” said the Big Lebowski actor.

“So you never know what life has in store for you.”

Jeff compared his return to working on The Old Man after his health problems to “a bizarre dream.”

In 2021, the award-winning Hollywood heavyweight revealed his cancer was in remission.

In a handwritten update on his website, Jeff wrote, “My cancer is in remission. The mass of 9” x 12” has shrunk to the size of a marble.’

He added that Covid had “kicked my ass pretty good,” but said: “I’ve been doubly vaccinated and feel much better now. I’ve heard the vaccine can help people with long haulers. Maybe that’s the reason for my rapid improvement.’

“I worked out with a great therapist, Zack Wermers. We focused on getting me off the oxygen aid, which until recently I needed to walk around.

“The sound it makes reminds me of Darth Vader.

“I had a goal: to have my daughter Hayley walk down the aisle. She got married to a great guy, Justin Shane.

“Thanks to Zach and my wonderful medical team, I was able to not only walk Hay down the aisle, but also have the dad/bride dance with her without oxygen.”
