JENNIFER “JLo” Lopez confirmed her marriage to Ben Affleck in a glowing newsletter released on Sunday.
The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas two decades after their first engagement.

In her latest newsletter, JLo wrote: “It worked. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out that love is patient. Twenty years of patience.”
She added a photo of them laughing together during what appears to be their big day, with the New York native wearing something that resembles a wedding dress.
JLo continued in her letter: “Just what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, lined up for a permit with four other couples, all taking the same trip to the wedding capital of the world.
“Behind us, two men held hands and held each other. In front of us was a young couple who made the three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday – we all wanted the same thing – so that the world would recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and almost universal symbol of marriage.”
She then shared details with fans about her and Ben’s arrival at the wedding chapel.
“We were barely in the little white wedding chapel at midnight. They graciously stayed open a few minutes late, let’s take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, apparently once used by The King himself (but if we wanted to show Elvis himself, that cost extra and he was in bed).”
She continued: “So with the best witnesses you can ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a coat from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave each other the rings we had left for the rest of the day. will bear our lives.
“They even had Bluetooth for a (short) march down the aisle. But in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of a long time ago and one that came true (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas), a pink convertible and each other) for a very, very long time.”
The hitmaker continued, adding: “When love is real, all that matters in marriage is each other and the promise we make to love, care, understand, be patient, loving and good to each other.” .
BIG CHANGES
“We had. And much more. Best night of our lives. Thank you to the Little White Wedding Chapel for letting me use the cafeteria to change while Ben changed in the men’s room.
“They were right when they said, ‘All you need is love.’ We are so thankful to have that in abundance, a new amazing family of five amazing kids and a life we’ve never had so much reason to look forward to.Stay around long enough and you might find the best moment of your life in a drive through Las Vegas at 11:30 am in the tunnel of love you drive through, with your children and the one you will spend forever.”
The letter concluded, “Love is a wonderful thing, perhaps best of all — and it’s worth the wait.”
However, her marriage to Ben is not the only major change in her life.
The Jenny From The Block singer signed her “Jennifer Lynn Affleck” newsletter, suggesting: she took her husband’s last name.
MARRIAGE HAPPY
Although it is clear from her post that she and Ben are basking marital blissJLo sent the message home with a string of photos after the wedding.
She shared a sexy snap of himself in bed.
The actress appears to be wrapped in white sheets and wearing nothing else.
The Grammy winner has a phone in her hand and appears to be talking to someone on Facetime.
IT IS OFFICIAL
Hours before the newsletter was sent, reports surfaced that Ben and JLo were married.
TMZ obtained records showing that the couple applied for a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada.
At the time, the Clark County Recorder’s Office revealed that the pop star may have changed her name to: “Jennifer Affleck.”
The marriage license was reportedly taken on Saturday, July 16.
The license was in both their legal names: Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
A source connected to the alleged married couple confirmed on the site that: they were indeed hooked.
Another insider told PEOPLE that they marry in a “little” ceremony.
“It was super, super small. They just wanted to get married, so they got married,” the source revealed.
LOVE HISTORY
Their relationship started when the JLo and Ben started dating back in 2002 after meeting on the set of their romantic/comedy caper, Gigli.
However, in 2004, the two broke off their engagement.
Their love affair progressed as they rekindled their relationship in May.
They reconciled after the Hustlers actress stopped with former Yankees star Alex “A-Rod'” Rodriguez46, back in April 2021.
JLo and Alex started their relationship in 2017 and got engaged two years later before they broke up.
After the singer/actress broke off her engagement to the ex-athlete, she and Ben started dating again.
They had each gone their separate ways before when they entered other relationships, married other people and had children.
