The nutritionist said she was on the brink of mental exhaustion when she was voted to perform her sixth challenge, dubbed the dreaded digger, and walked away when she discovered green ants and cockroaches would fall on her head.

Former American model Dickinson rose to fame for a series of camp brawls during her 2007 run, though she finished second behind Christopher Biggins.

A show spokesperson said: “We will be announcing our lineup and plans for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa is getting closer to handover in 2023.”

The rumored celebrities have not confirmed their participation in the series.
