But with Paul Pogba set to return to Juventus after leaving Manchester United, the Italians are desperate to get rid of Ramsey.

The Serie A giants want their pay off the books and have agreed a strict package with the 31-year-old to do so.

Juventus have agreed to pay Ramsey a whopping £3.5million to tear his contract up this summer, according to IlBianconero.com.

It is alleged that the two sides agreed on the amount after Juve initially wanted to pay £1.7million to let him leave.

Ramsey’s current terms expire next year.

However, the club would like to say goodbye to the midfielder, after 70 appearances in three years.

His time in Turin since joining Arsenal has been plagued with injuries.

After spending the second half of the recent season on loan at Rangers, Ramsey was recently close to meeting ex-Juve boss Andrea Pirlo at Turkey’s Fatih Karagumruk.

But the move failed and Juventus now want to end his contract.

The impending arrival of Pogba would further limit Ramsey’s chances at the club.

There had been speculation that Ramsey could return to his youth club Cardiff, with the Welsh club at one point having the chance to win the midfielder back.

International colleague Gareth Bale was also linked with a move to the Bluebirds before signing a deal with MLS outfit Los Angeles FC.
