The Duchess shared a photo to commemorate the Armed Forces Day on June 25, when she visited the Pilbright Army Training Center and Avindon Airfield last November. The annual event celebrates and commemorates all members of the British Army, including her family and cadets.

Kate shared a photo on the official Instagram page of the Duchess of Cambridge.

She states: “Today’s Army Day, William and I paid homage to the brave men and women of the past and present, serving all troops in the sea, land and air of Britain, and around the world.

“Thank you and your whole family for making the sacrifice to keep us safe.”

She added:

“It was great to see many important and diverse roles in the military in person to protect us all, and we look forward to learning more about the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force in due course.”

The series of photographs featured the Duchess wearing military combat equipment while learning about various military equipment and participating in several training exercises.

She was also depicted smiling at the camera while wearing a helmet, moving the attached microphone to her mouth.
