Carl Woods has released a voice recording of his ex-girlfriend Katie Price saying ‘I was on coke’ their messy split last week.

The on-off couple, who have been together since June 2020, went their separate ways last week when 33-year-old Carl accused the 44-year-old glamor model of cheating on him following their recent holiday to Thailand.

On Thursday morning (Dec. 1), the used-car salesman shared an audio clip from September of this year with his 232,000 Instagram followers before deleting it some time later.

In the recording, Katie talks about canceling work gigs because “I was on coke” and that she has been hiding her abuse of the Class A drug from her terminally ill mother, Amy Price.

Meanwhile, ex-partner Carl expresses frustration with Amy’s treatment of him and calls on Katie to “leave her alone.”

“Leave me alone and stop arguing with me because I’m not actually ad**khead,” says Carl. “I’ll take the bullet for you. Do you understand what I’m saying?’

Katie then replies, “Imagine if I sat down and went…[inaudible] all this and said yes, I did coke.’

Carl replies, “Well, maybe she’ll apologize to me instead of blaming everything on me.”

Katie says, “Maybe someday I’ll do that and then I’ll say I really worked it out, Mom.” That’s why I didn’t show up here and there because I was on coke. It has nothing to do with Carl.

“Carl helped me get rid of it.”

Katie has been open about her struggles with addiction in the past, previously admitting in May 2020 that she turned to cocaine as a form of escapism before entering treatment at The Priory.

“I mean, there’s only so much I can handle as a human being,” Katie said on her Quest Red show, My Crazy Life. ‘Trauma from the exes, the media that give me a hard time with constant nonsense stories. I’ve had two dogs who died, I was even blamed for that by the press.

“It got to the point where I literally can’t talk to anyone. My mother is terminally ill, I don’t want to stress her out. Yes, I turned to coke and I turned to drinking.”

“Because my head was so numb with things, my reaction was ‘oh just something else, just something else’, which wasn’t normal to act,” Katie continued.

So that’s why I turned to something to escape that, and mine ended up being the coke. That’s why I can’t go back to my house, the times I drank coke there, all the parties there.’

Katie was spared jail last year after she went involved in a drunk driving accident.

Instead, she received a 16-week suspended sentence last December for the offence, which was committed while she was disqualified and uninsured.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain in January, Katie suggested that ‘traumatic events’ led to the incident.

“Of course I went to The Priory,” she said. And I’ve finally made the decision that I’m seeing a therapist every week forever to process the traumatic events that led me into that car. Because I’m really good at hiding things.’

“There are reasons why I got in that car, my mental state,” she continued. “When I’m ready to talk about it, I’ll talk about it.

“I am ashamed of anything and everything. But, like I said, it was all a traumatic build up, and it’s been traumatic after that and the reasons I’m still dealing with now.”
