Did Kelly Clarkson Just Throw Big Shade At Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock?
The singer, 40, seemed to avoid her ex by changing the lyrics in a cover of her TV show, referring to her acrimonious split with the talent manager, 46.
Kelly sang a rendition of Gayle’s viral hit abcdefu, but opted to make the killer track more personal with nods to her own ex.
“F*** you and your mom and your sister and your job and your broken car and that s*** you call art,” sings Grammy nominee Gayle in the original version.
But while performing her own cover on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kelly instead sang, “Forget you and your daddy and the fact that you got half and my broken heart, turn that s*** into art.”
Kelly kept to the stock lyrics for the rest of the performance, but the change in lyrics didn’t go unnoticed by fans.
One tweeted: ”forget about you and your father”, we know what you were doing there baby!’
“I know Brandon Blackstock is feeling the fire of this,” wrote another.

Kelly was married to Brandon for almost ten years, but the couple decided to call it quits in 2020 and finalized their divorce last year.
The former spouses share children River Rose, seven, and five-year-old Remington Alexander, and were involved in a fiery custody battle, with lawsuits over property, child support and spousal support. some of the problems that faced the warring pair.
Kelly eventually got primary custody, but she will have to pay dearly.
According to previous reports from TMZBrandon, who lives in Montana, gets the kids one weekend a month.
And while Brandon challenged the prenuptial agreement, the judge upheld its validity, with Kelly retaining her income of around $20m (£15m) a year.
However, the Breakaway hitmaker must pay Brandon $115,000 (£87,000) a month in spousal support until January 2024.
He will also receive $46,000 (£35,000) a month in child support, and Kelly will pay him a sum of $1.3 million (£990,000) as part of the settlement.
Meanwhile, Brandon is allowed to stay on Kelly’s ranch in Montana until June 1, but he will have to pay her $12,500 (£9,150) a month in rent.
However, the legal battle hasn’t kept Kelly away from the studio as she’s already announced a breakup album entitled Chemistry that everyone is so excited about.
Kelly delighted fans with her announcement this week, promising to cover up her “entire relationship” with Brandon, not just their breakup.
“It’s officially time to tell you that I’ve been working on this project for almost three years now, and I wasn’t sure if I’d release it, but I’m doing it!” The Voice coach said in a video.
About the title, she explained, “I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing because I didn’t want everyone to think I was just coming out with something like, ‘I’m angry, I’m sad,’ something like , just one or two emotions, you know?’
“This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship…and an entire relationship shouldn’t be reduced to one thing,” she added subtly.
“So there’s, you know, the good, the bad, and the ugly kind of thing in it.” Chemistry can be really great, sexy, cool, fun, but it can also be really bad for you.”
Kelly teased a release date, saying Chemistry will drop “soon.”
