King Charles got the first seedling that came out of the Sycamore Gap tree By the National Trust to celebrate the holiday.
The annual celebration, described as a day to remember the lives of those who shaped us but are no longer here, was marked by the gift to the monarch in his role as patron of the National Trust.
It comes after actress Dame Judi Dench got another seedling from the tree at the Chelsea Flower Show by schoolgirl Charlotte Crowe from Henshaw CE Primary School in Northumberland.
Dame Judi shed a tear after receiving the plant and said, “I will name him Antoninus, the adopted son of the Emperor Hadrian.”
The Sycamore Gap tree was possibly Britain's most recognizable trunk until suddenly it was felled overnight in September 2023.
The ancient monument, located next to Hadrian's Wall, was pulled down by vandals on September 28 last year
The King appeared delighted last week when he visited a garden designed by children at the Chelsea Flower Show today
Not only did it appear in countless photographs, but it was also featured in films including Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
After being cut down, the remains of the tree were eventually cleared away and seeds were collected, from which these new plants grew.
In a statement on his social media, the Royal family said: 'Today is Celebration Day: an annual day to remember the lives of those who are no longer here and who shaped us. To mark the day, the National Trust has presented The King – their patron – with the first seedling grown from seed collected from the Sycamore Gap tree.
'The tree was a popular landmark growing in a natural dip in the countryside along Hadrian's Wall before it was cut down in September 2023.
'Once the seedling has grown, His Majesty hopes to scale it up in Windsor Great Park, where the wind will in turn help the seeds to be spread even more widely.
'Part of the power of trees to move and comfort us lies in the continuity and hope they represent: the sense that their seeds, rooted in the past and blossoming in the present, will be carried into a yet unimaginable future .'
The tree was about 150 years old when it was cut down at nightfall in September.
Although abused, the tree's stump remains alive and tree experts hope that it will one day grow back to its former glory.

Social media has greatly increased their popularity and it quickly became a favorite place for marriage proposals, scattering of ashes and of course photos.
An early theory was that the tree was felled as a social media prank.
Although there is no CCTV footage anywhere near the site, police are believed to know the man's route to the tree – the path from the Steel Rigg car park that follows Hadrian's Wall on a rocky rollercoaster over hills and open moorland .
It is thought that cell phone triangulation could play a role in any prosecution, but it is unclear to what extent DNA from the tree will play a role.
Samples would yield genetic material that could then be linked to sawdust found on the clothing or machinery of potential suspects.
But the time that has passed since the crime seems to indicate a lack of forensic clues.
Two men have since been accused of cutting down the monument, which was valued at £622,000.

However, few in this part of Northumberland believe the mystery of Sycamore Gap will be solved so easily.
Still, they were encouraged to hear last month that fresh shoots have emerged from the tree's rescued seeds and twigs taken to a 'high security greenhouse' in Devon the day after it was destroyed.
Back at Sycamore Gap, there is similar hope. “This tree stump is still alive,” a sign warns. “If we leave it alone, new growth can emerge.”
