Lady Gaga says she’s thankful she’s been given love and support to “conquer my nightmare” after feeling like she’d never perform again.
The Oscar-winning performer said she was helped by “trust, truth, courage, talent and dedication” ahead of her upcoming world tour.
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is about to embark on The Chromatica Ball world tour, which will take place from July to September.
She tweeted: “There was a time when I thought I would never be on stage again. I was so sad that I couldn’t dream anything but a painful nightmare.
“I overcame my nightmare with love, support, trust, truth, courage, talent and dedication. I am so grateful. See you in BABYLON #ChromaticaBall.”
The tour kicks off on July 17 in Düsseldorf and ends in Miami on September 17.
It includes dates in Canada, several US states and Europe, including two nights at the Tottenham Hotspur football stadium in London.
The singer has been open about her struggles with mental health issues, including anxiety and depression, in the past.
