A crash is blocking the right lanes southbound between off-ramps to the South Eastern Highway and Mt Wellington Highway on Monday at 7am.
A car that rolled on Auckland’s Southern Motorway, blocking two southbound lanes near Mt Wellington, has now been pushed clear.
All lanes had reopened as of 7.50am Monday.
There were no reports of any serious injuries, but motorists should expect delays as traffic eased, police said.
Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency warned motorists to pass the site with care.
It comes as strong winds blow through Auckland, leading to lowered speed limits on the Harbour Bridge on Monday.
Waka Kotahi warned the bridge could be closed if winds reached dangerous speeds.
MetService has issued a number of weather watches and warnings across much of the upper half of the North Island.
Heavy rain warnings are in place for Northland, Auckland from Whangaparāoa northwards, the Coromandel Peninsula and the western Bay of Plenty until Tuesday.
In Auckland south of Whangaparāoa, MetService has issued a heavy rain watch until Tuesday afternoon.
