NIGEL BENN has appeared for his son Conor’s sensational fight with Chris Eubank Jr.
As revealed by SunSport, the match is almost agreed before October 8 at the O2 Arena in London.
And despite the nearly ONE STONE weight difference, British boxing icon Nigel has given his approval.
He tweeted: “This is what Conor wants, this won’t ruin Conor, he’s not made that way.
“Well, let’s see how he does it. I support him, win, lose or equalize my friend.”
Conor, 25, has never fought above the 10th 7lb welterweight limit.
While Eubank Jr, 32, is a career middleweight at 11th 6lb, who has fought as high as the 12th super-middleweight limit.
Obviously the couple will meet in the middle in a 156lb catchweight of 11th 1lb.
Benn is currently 21-0 with 14 knockouts, recently beating Chris van Heerden, 35, to climb even higher in the rankings.
Eubank Jr most recently Welshman Liam Williams, 30, in February but he is frustrated in his bid to win a world title fight.

It has turned its attention to a blockbuster fight against Benn for years.
Eubank Sr first defeated Conor’s father Nigel in 1990 before drawing a tie in their 1993 rematch.
Former twoweight champion Nigel added further speculation after giving the go-ahead for his son to take on Eubank. to fight when you speak to SunSport.
He told the legendary Colin Hart, “I’m not afraid of Conor going in with the boy from Eubank. I even welcome it.
“I know the old saying of a good big ‘un beat a good little’ un, but that’s an old-fashioned opinion.
“I moved up from middleweight and won a world super middleweight title and Chris Jr’s father did the same.
“Manny Pacquiao became world champion in eight weight divisions, from flyweight to welterweight, and Canelo Alvarez started at welterweight and was light-heavyweight world champion.”
