Little House, Big Plans viewers blow up Sarah Beeney for a ‘pointless’ house transformation

LITLLE HOUSE BIG PLANS viewers were frustrated after watching an hour-long episode of a “pointless” house transformation.

Sarah Beeny’s new TV show continued last night when the property guru met with Herefordshire couple Tim and Tiff, who decided to take on a ‘tricky’ home renovation project.

Sarah told the couple that their top floor would work well as an open-plan kitchen and living area and that the bottom is easily big enough for two bedrooms.

The couple moved to Bosbury with their daughter Tia in 2016 and made plans to convert their garage into a ‘rental residence’.

After their careers were hit hard by the pandemic, Tim and Tiff set out to convert their garage into a “country sanctuary” so they could earn some extra income.

But with a shoestring budget and space, the couple was told by real estate expert Sarah that their project would be a “tricky renovation.”

The couple shared their plans for a spiral staircase, but Sarah quickly shut them down and told them they didn’t have enough room for it.

The couple didn’t look too happy, but Sarah quickly reassured them and offered some advice, telling them that their plans for a spiral staircase might work if they turned the house around and moved the living space upstairs—instead. from the ground floor.

Sarah said, “The top floor would work well as an open kitchen and living space. And the bottom floor is easily big enough for two bedrooms.”

Adding: “It’s always best to keep bedrooms and bathrooms on the same floor if possible.”

After some back and forth, the result wasn’t as exciting as viewers had hoped, after undergoing a “pointless” house transformation.

On Twitter, viewers shared how they felt about this disappointing episode.

One user tweeted: “Come on Channel 4, and Sarah Beeny, a whole hour to tell us what Tim and Tiff were going to do (over and over with floor plans) to do absolutely everything. Completely non-program! Tiny House No idea. “

Another moaned, “That’s an hour I’ll never get back! Big reveal or not, as the case may be.”

Another user chimed in: “Let’s face it, tonight’s episode of #LittleHouseBigPlan was a big waste of time for all of us, wasn’t it.”

Not only was the episode a complete waste of time, but viewers didn’t approve of the show’s use of plastic grass.

One user commented: “Plastic grass should be damned banned, horrible stuff.

Another user jumped in furiously, saying, “What’s up with that filthy plastic grass when people give their house a makeover? It’s horrible.”
