Lizzo Responds to 'South Park' Joke That Names Ozempic Alternative After Her

Lizzo responds to South Park referring to her in their latest special, The end of obesitycentered on weight loss drugs.

In a blind reaction video on her Instagram, the “About Damn Time” singer shared her thoughts on the new episode of the long-running animated series, which premiered Friday.

“Guys, my worst fear has come true,” she said at the beginning. “I'm referenced in one South Park episode. I am so afraid.”

Lizzo then played the clip featuring a conversation between Sharon and Sheila, Stan and Kyle's mothers. Sharon explains that her doctor wouldn't prescribe her a weight-loss medication like Ozempic because she doesn't have diabetes, but, “There's a brand new anti-obesity drug for those of us who can't afford Ozempic and Mounjaro.”

Sharon reveals she has been controlling her 'desire to get thinner' with a fake drug called Lizzo.

As the “Truth Hurts” artist drops her jaw and covers her mouth, seemingly in shock, an upbeat medication commercial for Lizzo begins to play.

“FDA-approved Lizzo makes you feel good about your weight, and it costs 90 percent less than Ozempic. … In case studies, 70 percent of patients on Lizzo no longer cared how much they weighed,” said the narrator of the fake commercial. “Lizzo helps you eat everything you want and keep physical activity to a minimum. … Ask about the power of not giving a fuck about Lizzo.”

When the footage ended, Lizzo said in response, “That's crazy. I just feel like damn, I'm really that bitch.

“I really showed the world how to love yourself and not care, to the point where these men did [South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone] in Colorado know who I am, and put it on their cartoon that's been around for 25 years,” she continued. “I really am that bitch, and I show you how not to give a fuck, and I'll keep showing you how not to give a fuck.”

South Park: The End of Obesity is currently streaming on Paramount+.
