Paige Thorne‘s loved ones have responded to Coco Lodge’s claims that: the couple had unresolved issues in the Love Island villa, which claims there are ‘two sides to every story’.
After being dumped from the ITV2 dating show, Coco revealed she had been told that the 24-year-old paramedic didn’t like her vibe, despite “trying really hard” to befriend her.
take to TikTokshared details of their alleged feud, telling fans: “She [Paige] had a problem with me, or whatever, where she told someone she didn’t like my vibe. I only just found out, actually.’
Coco also claimed that Paige was “annoyed” when someone compared their looks, saying, “She didn’t want to look like me.”
She continued: ‘Then of course [Paige] told Gemma [Owen] giggling that I had a four out of ten and she a twelve, which isn’t nice or nice.’
Revealing that she was trying “very, very hard” to bond with Paige, Coco went on: “And [for Paige] to go and tell one of my best friends Summer [Botwe] that she just doesn’t like my vibes when I did nothing but try really hard for her because she was the least welcoming to all of us.
‘I never had contact with Jacques’ [O’Neill] or something; I just didn’t understand her problem with me. Was it because I was a different brunette? I don’t know.’
Paige’s family has since responded to Coco’s claims, posting a statement on the islander’s Instagram Story.
“Remember, every story has two sides,” they wrote. “It’s very easy to talk about someone who can’t defend themselves.
“Those who know and love Paige know she’s a wonderful person and I couldn’t be more proud of her, for example.”
Paige is one of the remaining five couples locked up in the Love Island villa, alongside Andrew Le Page and Tasha, Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack, Luca Bish and Gemma Owen, and Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
She is currently linked to Adam Collard, who popped into the show when she was having relationship issues with Jacques O’Neill.
