hold your hat Love Island fans – Casa Amor is on the horizon.

The villa’s name may translate to ‘House of Love’, but the annual feature arguably offers the most drama and heartbreak in the entire Love Island series.

The feature introduces tons of new bombshells and endless amounts of temptation for the participants.

Always making sure to shake things up, producers divide the girls and boys into two villas and lure them away from their current romances with a whole new set of potential love interests.

With the second villa being teased, when will Casa Amor open in 2022?

When will Casa Amor start?

Casa Amor was introduced at the end of Friday’s July 1 episode, meaning: sunday july 3 the first full episode will be devoted to Casa Amor.

after both Charlie Radnedge and Antigoni Buxton were brutally dumped from the villa, Friday’s events concluded with the introduction of Paige Thorne, Indiyah Polack, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Gemma Owen, Tasha Ghouri and Danica Taylor into their new temporary home.

Tasha then got a text that read: ‘Girls welcome to Casa Amor, – You have six new guys to meet.’

Viewers were then treated to a quick look at the brand new cast members, including Samuel Agbiji, Josh Samuel le Grove, Billy Brown, Deji Adeniyi, George Tasker and Ronan Keating’s son, Jack.

The episode ended with a short teaser of Sunday night’s sizzling episode, in which a cast of new single girls step into the original villa, ready to reheat the series.

How long does Casa Amor last?

Casa Amor lasts about three to four days, just long enough to turn heads and send the infamous postcard to the main villa.

Contestants are then asked if they would like to stay with their original partner, or pair up with one of the new singletons.

Casa Amor has been responsible for some of the biggest breakups in Love Island history, including the temporary split of last year’s winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon.
