Dumped Love Island star Martin Akinola doesn’t get on the ‘Shanya’ train just yet – simply because he believes Tanya feathers is not head over heels for it Jack Mohammed.
During the emotional (on the side of Claudia Fogarty) episode, Islanders were called to the fire pit to face the music while new bombshells Rosie Seabrook and Keanan Brand were told to take their pick.
After the drama that followed Movie Night, Tanya, 23, proved her feelings for security guard Shaq, 24, when she chose him over Martin in the final minutes of the show.
Although Martin provided us top shelf entertainment during his stint on the show and insisted there was no grudge between him and his former flame, he doesn’t believe Tanya’s relationship with Shaq is real.
“Really, I think Shaq might have a crush on her. But I don’t think she’s in love with him,’ he said.
Looking back at the state of affairs with the 23-year-old biomedical student, Martin explained that Tanya could have handled things a little better.

“She followed her heart – which was fair enough – but she went about it the wrong way. That’s what I had a problem with,” he added.
“I felt like I needed to know for her little speech on the bridge. She should have told me sooner and let me know. I think I deserved that bit of respect. I didn’t understand that. That’s why the quarrel started.’
He continued, “I told her good luck and I wish her and Shaq the best. When I also left the Villa, I said lucky, because I saw that she was feeling so bad. She did what she had to do, she just did it wrong.’
Elsewhere on Friday’s episode, cracks were beginning to form for Casey O’Gorman and Claudia as fans turned to the 26-year-old Londoner is lying to the blonde beauty about his interest in bombshell Rosie.
To make matters worse during the re-coupling, the couple split up with Rosie choosing Casey and Keanan trying his luck with Claudia.
The news came after Casey finally admitted to Carl Fogarty’s daughter that he had plans to talk to the new girl, who Claudia revealed she wasn’t interested in being second best.
