Love Islandmovie night is about to cause a lot more chaos, with Luca Bis confronting Gemma Owen about her ‘flirty’ chat with Billy Brown.
Although Luca and Gemma recently dropped the L-bomb, things don’t go quite smoothly after they get into an argument in tonight’s episode over a conversation Billy had with Gemma in a movie night clip titled Good Bill Hunting.
After the movies air, Luca says to Gemma, “You were on it,” to which Gemma replies, “No, I wasn’t.”
Luca calls Billy to the fire pit to join them and asks, “Did you feel like she was flirting with you?” while Billy replied, ‘Yeah, it was just a flirty joke.’
Gemma interrupts: ‘Did we have a flirty chat? Yes.’
Luca replies, “But a minute ago you said you weren’t having a flirty chat, you literally said, ‘I wasn’t flirting.'”
As the conversation continues, Gemma says, “I don’t think any boundaries have been crossed.”
Luca previously clashed with Billy about “flirting” in Friday night’s movie night episode, in which the contestants took part in a quiz to earn the right to choose whose dirty laundry is played in front of everyone on the big screen.
After winning the quiz question, the guys asked to see a clip titled She’s Just Not That Into You starring Gemma and Dami Hope.
The daughter of Michael Owen19, insinuated that her head might be turned by another boy before talking to Billy in the kitchen.
He asked if he could hug her, to which she told him that a protective Luca would ‘cancel’ him.
“Mates don’t hug,” she replied, as Luca sat on the beanbags the whole time, blissfully ignorant.
Despite Gemma laughing at the encounter and not feeling anything was wrong, Luca didn’t feel the same.
After watching the clip, the fishmonger was full of expletives: ‘F***ing muggy. I was made up like an asshole.’
He expressed his frustrations to Billy, saying, “I’m bringing that up 100%. She’s just saying what everyone else is saying and she’s also told me that you’re messing with her.
“You were flirting. I don’t care, you can talk, it’s Love Island, but I was labeled an idiot.’
He added: ‘I can’t stand liars. I was called overprotective or whatever. If you want to flirt, I’ll flirt. Drop me a goddamn bomb here now.’
It remains to be seen if Luca and Gemma will survive this bump in the road – could there be rocky waters ahead for one of the strongest couples in the villa?
