LOVE Island’s Jack Keating shared a bizarre fact about the villa over meal times.
The 23-year-old son of music legend Ronan Keating went to the iconic reality show during the house love segment, but left after a short period of time after failing to mate with a fellow islander.
Despite his lack of love, Jack was a big hit on the series and has since admitted that he wished he’d talked more with Danica Taylor.
Speaking of his experience, Jack revealed a surprising fact about the show during an exclusive conversation with The Sun.
He said: “People always ask me about the food and what we eat all day, and for breakfast you do things yourself, so there’s things like cereal and then catering is what they do for lunch and dinner.
“But actually the boys sit separately from the girls to eat during these catered meals, so there is no talking or anything like that. You are kept apart.
“It was really interesting because I had no idea what the food situation would be like.”
Jack also said they use the pool during the show, but it’s not shown often because they have to remove their microphones.
The Irish star also admitted he would go back to the villa just like former islander Adam Collard.
“Now that Adam comes back I might come too, you never know,” teased Jack, adding: “Never say never, like I said, I wouldn’t rule it out and it would be good to go over it again .
“However, I’d like to continue as a bombshell and see if it would be different to do it that way.”
Jack was originally told that he would become a Bombshell, someone who enters the main villa and later gets the chance who they would like to have a relationship with.
That effectively divides a couple who are in the villa together.
Jack said, “A week before I was supposed to go in, I found out I’d be at Casa.”
But viewers got excited after Jack was given minimal on-screen time, despite Paige doing well.
He said: “I wanted to go in there and not play in front of the cameras, I wanted to be real to myself and hopefully my personality didn’t change and hopefully it would shine through on camera.
“Of course I didn’t really get much airtime, didn’t really find love in it, but I’m happy to say that I stayed true to myself, didn’t change myself too much for the cameras.”
